Treasure Hunt & Afternoon Tea

Sat Sept 14th

Our Treasure Hunt, with clues suitable for all ages, lasted about an hour with a circular route on foot from the Parish Centre.

"I'd been looking forward to this ALL week! It was great working as a team and we laughed a lot! The hunt wasn't too long and in order which made it easier to walk round."

"Running about finding out the facts felt exciting and it was good seeing everyone else having fun too. I enjoyed the cupcakes and squash at the Afternoon Tea. Thank you for putting all the effort in: I had a great day l"

“I thought the treasure hunt was fun and the cakes were magnificent!”

"During the week I am always so busy but events like these are relaxing and I inevitably speak to someone I haven’t seen for ages.”

Bring and Share Lunch - July 14th

Our bring and share lunch on July 14th was also our opportunity to say farewell to Benedict Wilson as he left us to take up a position at Shrewsbury School.

Fun Wine Tasting May 11th

A fun and informative evening enjoyed by fifty members of the church family. Hazel Tattersall, ably assisted by her husband Chris and some of the social team helpers, presented 6 different wines complemented perfectly by Annie Morris' delicious home made canapes.  A good time was had by all!

Live Lunch, Sunday 3rd March

Our Live Lunch on Sunday 3rd March featured musical talent from across the church including singers from the choir and Trinity Voices as well as music groups from our Food for Thought, Rosebird and TrinityCentre@10 services.

The Live Lunch was part of a programme of events to bring the Holy Trinity community together. Events have included a Beetle Drive and Ceilidh and mostly include a delicious meal as part of the fun.

"I had a great time at the Beetle Drive, not only because I won a prize, but because I was with my friends. I'm sure everyone had a fantastic time like I did! If you think this sounds fun, then come along and join us at the next event, because there's plenty of room and we'd love to see you!" Georgie Poulten, aged 9.
