Director of Music 

Colin Millington joined Holy Trinity as Director of Music in 2025, after holding the position of Graduate Organ Scholar of the Collegiate Church of St Mary’s, Warwick. Colin grew up in South Leicestershire, where he first started playing the organ and leading local choirs in regularly worship.

Colin went on to read music at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, where he was also the organ scholar. During his time at Cambridge, Colin gave regular recitals at a number of colleges, and toured with the Corpus Christi Choir internationally.

Colin advanced his musicianship during his time at St Mary’s Warwick, where he accompanied the choir regularly as well as aided rehearsals and progression of choristers. During this time Colin was involved in the Girl’s Chorister’s CD I Will Lift up Mine Eyes, as well as playing for BBC services. Colin is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists. 

Colin is a founding member of Everything Under the Sun, a band that performs classic rock albums in large and special spaces that contain pipe organs. The band have performed in a number of cathedrals across the country, performing the music of Pink Floyd and Radiohead. 

 

Assistant Director of Music

Rebecca Mills was a choral scholar at Trinity College, Cambridge, where she read Music. She has been involved with choral conducting since the age of 17 when she led a female voice group in the Sainsbury’s Choir of the Year Competition. 

Rebecca teaches piano and singing and runs choirs at King Edward Vl Grammar School and Sibford School.

She is also co-director of Meon Singers, a local village choir.

She has been involved with Holy Trinity Church since 2013, and led the choir as Interim Director of Music in 2019-20, after which she was appointed Assistant Director. Rebecca particularly enjoys running the Church’s Junior Choir, Trinity Voices. 

Rebecca sings with Ex Cathedra, Stratford Chamber Choir and the Guild Chapel Choir.
