Opening and Closing Times

We warmly welcome visitors to our church and hope you enjoy your time here.

Our church is usually open during the hours listed below, although, as an active parish church, these may occasionally change.

​​

From time to time, we may need to close at short notice, most often for funerals or special services.

​​

​While we’re unable to offer pre-booked or scheduled tours, groups are always very welcome to visit during our opening hours.

​

​We are a dog-friendly church and warmly welcome well-behaved dogs into Holy Trinity. Please feel free to bring your dog along when you visit, but we kindly ask that they remain on a lead at all times. You can read our dogs policy here.

Core Opening Hours

April – October

Monday – Saturday: 10am – 4.45pm
Sunday: 1pm – 3.15pm

November – March

Saturday: 10am – 3.45pm
Sunday: 1pm – 3.15pm

Cost of Entry

​

Entry to the church is free.

​

Access to the Chancel, where Shakespeare’s grave and memorial can be seen, costs:

£5 per adult (18+)
£1 pound for visitors aged 18 and under
Free for pre-school children
