Pancake Party

  

On Shrove Tuesday 60 members ,of all ages from the church family, met to enjoy a wide variety of specialty crepes and waffles, both sweet and savoury, prepared on site by Marta and her team, from Lily’s Waffles & Crepes.  As well as the mouth-watering pancakes, a quiz and a pancake flipping competition entertained those attending.

Burns Night Supper Jan 20th 2024

 

             

                                                        

60 guests arrived at the Parish Centre to the sound of Joe Piper's bagpipes. The Haggis was duly addressed, then served with neeps and tatties, for a delicious supper followed by home made crumble and bread and butter pudding.  Scottish dancing, led by Sarah Cushing, was enthusiastically embraced and the evening was rounded off with Auld Lang Syne.
