Holy Trinity Church Community Fete

STALLS AND GAMES

The are many activities taking place. As well as stalls selling goods there will be games and activities for everyone to get involved with.

Stalls include:

Body Shop, Dinky Gems, Eco Stall, Climate Action, Homemade crafts, Reflexology, Fair Trade Stall, Yuhiko Creations, Alan A Art, Bluebell Cottage Fudge and Nougat and Pimm’s & Prosecco.

Other stalls include:

Honey, Tombola, Books, Cake and home-made produce, Raffles, Bric-a-brac, Photographs with William Shakespeare, A prize every time on the bottle stall.

Games will include:

Ball in Bucket, Hook a Duck (not real ducks!), Score a Goal, Horse Race (not real horses!), Spin the Wheel, Trap a Rat (not real rats!) and Stocks (throw a wet sponge at the clergy or your parents, if you can persuade them, with real Vicars & parents!!).

Treasure Hunt

The treasure hunt (on foot) will take around 45-minutes – taking you to places you’ve probably never visited before. Enter at the Treasure Hunt Stall.

ENTERTAINMENT

There will be entertainment taking place all day – so don’t miss your favourite act.

11.45am Join in with the Morris Dancers, Clowns and Mascots, in Bancroft Gardens in front of the RSC, as they make their way to the opening ceremony in The Dell.

MUST VISIT

Tea, coffee and the best homemade cakes in Stratford will be on sale in the Parish Centre (directly opposite The Dell) from 12 noon until 4pm. Make you way over and meet your friends for a friendly chat and few minutes rest before you go back to the Dell.

Tour round the church and view the organ. Each hour, on the hour, from 1pm to 3pm, there will be guided tours round the church, taking in the history of this 800 year-old building, including viewing Shakespeare’s Grave. There will be as small charge for this Tour. Tickets available at the Fete or in the church.

Between 2pm and 4pm a classical guitarist, Marcin Majkowski, will be playing in the church. Marcin is a wonderful guitarist. Entry to the church Nave and shop is free.

Fancy Dress

Calling all primary school children. Put on your best fancy dress and come along and join our parade and competition in the Main Ring at 15.00. There will be two categories:

Children up to & including Year 2

Children in Years 3 to 6

Entry is free on the day.

‘Cruft’s This Ain’t’ Fun Dog Show

There will be a fun Dog Show in the Main Ring at 15.30. Bring along your 4-legged friend even if he/she is just a scruffy mutt. Full details of the categories and how to enter are on the Community Section of our website. Click here for details

Would you like volunteer to help at the Fete?

This is a great way to meet new people and get involved in the local community.

We would welcome anyone who can help on the day, at any time from 9.00am. Just contact us and let us know how you would like to get involved.
