FROM CURATE TO PRIEST

Kay Welcomed as Associate Priest

Having completed her curacy at Holy Trinity, Kay Dyer has joined the permanent clergy team as Associate Priest.

Kay, who has lived in Stratford for over 40 years, was licensed at Holy Trinity by The Venerable Sue Field, Archdeacon Pastor for the Diocese of Coventry in recognition for having completed her three-year curacy. Kay is looking forward to her new role which includes being Chaplain to the Holy Trinity Choir, now numbering over 40 members.

Kay brings a wealth of experience to her new role, gained not just within the Church of England but also from her 15 years as a lecturer in business, IT and Public Services at Stratford College.

“I am looking forward to being part of a team at the centre of something exciting,” commented Kay. “Holy Trinity’s Five Year Plan includes developing our youth-work, and children’s and families’ support and ensuring that we are outward facing. Holy Trinity has a long tradition, but it is important that we also respond to the needs of today’s community.”
