3.00pm A Service of Lessons and Carols  (Doors open at 2.15pm)

Our highly popular traditional carol service in which we hear the ancient prophecies about the coming of Jesus from the Old Testament and the story of his birth in the Gospels. Between the Lessons the choir sing beautiful Christmas music and lead the singing of the carols.

(This service is not suitable for very young children. They are very welcome at all other services, especially The Big Nativity at 5pm).

Our first Eucharist of Christmas is a wonderful celebration of Holy Communion with plenty of candles! As we enter Christmas Day itself, we rejoice that Jesus Christ is here with us, not just a baby born 2,000 years ago, but present in bread and wine and within each of us.
