Welcome to Holy Trinity Church Choir's Webpage!

For centuries choristers have enriched the worship of
Holy Trinity Church. At the close of the fifteenth century,
four boys assisted in singing Divine Service at Holy Trinity.
Today a thriving choir of 16 trebles and 16 adults
is dedicated to leading the worship of this magnificent church
and in doing so, helping to maintain the unique choral
tradition of the Church of England.
The choir sings regularly each Sunday for the morning
Eucharist as well as Evensong, with fully Choral Evensong
being sung on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. In
addition to this, there are special services at festival times
and for civic occasions including Shakespeare
Sunday.
However, being a member of the choir is not just simply
about singing. Throughout the year, all sorts of different
social events are organised, giving choristers and adults
alike a chance really to get to know each other
and....have fun! On top of this, there are opportunities to sing
on tour in exciting new places. Past venues include Exeter
Cathedral, Lincoln Cathedral, Coventry Cathedral Italy
(Tuscany) and most recently New York and Boston. The choir has
performed in concert with Orchestra of the Swan, Stratford's
professional orchestra
So, if you fancy joining a friendly community of
singers, perhaps improving your own singing skills and helping
to lead others in worship in beautiful buildings on a regular
basis then...
