Chancel Concert Series 2019

The Friends of the Music are proud to present three top-quality concerts in the intimate setting of Holy Trinity’s beautiful Chancel.

These concerts feature young, professional musicians who are pursuing exciting careers in the classical world.
There will be a chance to speak to the performers after the concerts whilst enjoying a glass of wine.

This year’s series features some exceptional performers:

Saturday 18 May

The Nox String Quartet, who recently wowed the Soundbites audience with their delicate rendition of Haydn’s Lark Quartet;

Saturday 25 May

Lida Lymi, violin and Maria Kustas, with a programme to include Sibelius, Schubert, Messian and Ravel;

Saturday 1 June

Antonio Oyarzabal, acclaimed pianist who returns to Holy Trinity by popular demand, this time bringing us works celebrating female composers.

All concerts start at 7:30pm and tickets (£10, under 16s free) are for sale on the door. All profits go to the Friends of the Music supporting all forms of musical activity at Holy Trinity.
